The 11th Workshop on Nanoscale and Mesoscopic Systems

"Noise is a Signal (Quantum and Classical Noise in Mesoscopic Systems)"
Dec 17--18, 2004
POSTECH

The workshop is supported by APCTP, KIAS and electron Spin Science Center (eSSC)

In the present series, invited is Prof. Markus Buttiker at University of Geneva in Switzerland, one of the major contributors to the foundation of the mesoscopic physics itself. He will introduce the fundamental concepts of noise and give a reivew of recent developments in the field. We also invite two experiemental experts Prof. Gyu-Tae Kim at Korea University and Prof. Yunchul Chung at Pusan National University. They will give reviews on several important experiments as well as technical details.
